To connect Deep Time with external MIDI devices in Ableton Live!:
– add two MIDI tracks and one audio track in your project
– load Reaktor with Deep Time in the first MIDI track
– turn Deep Time Sequencer on and select a sequence to play with your hardware
– set Deep Time Sync to Host
– enable view for Routing settings on your tracks: View > In/Out option
– on the second MIDI track, select Reaktor track with Deep Time in “MIDI from” menu and select Reaktor as input channel as well
– enable monitoring for that track
– in “MIDI to” menu, select the output port of your Audio/MIDI interface where your hardware is connected to
– select input for the audio track, arm tracks for recording and start playback.
